In December 2005 ESE (Scotland) won the tender to provide the full turnkey fit out package for Optos Plc's new European Service Centre at City Gate Court, Carnegie Campus, Dunfermline.

Optos Plc. is a leading medical technology company for the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of retinal imaging devices -  in June 2006 they won the UK's most prestigious engineering innovation accolade "The Royal Academy of Engineering 2006 MacRobert Award".

This new Service Centre enabled a lot of out sourced products and services to be brought in house, allowing Optos to commence manufacturing of the next generation of retinal eye scanners.

ESE (Scotland)  worked closely with various members of the Optos team to understand and develop the brief to ensure that the products and services specified were tailored to suit the individual needs of the business. The final result was a successful working environment that reflected a positive corporate image.

This project involved specifying, supplying and installing partitioning, ceilings, flooring, air conditioning, heating and ventilation throughout the premises. ESE (Scotland) also supplied kitchen units and worktop, open plan office furniture, meeting room furniture, breakout furniture as well as ergonomic industrial production work benches complete with accessories.
